My first tag

Thank you all for your comments on my busy card. It is just great having crafty pals. Well it is complete bedlam here today, we live on a main "A" road on a very steep hill and it has been games all round. We now have jack-knifed lorries on each of the roads out of the village and each of the main roads, at least 6 currently, my daughter has just gone to work and had to turn round and try an alternative road where she just managed to squeak past one of them. Also a litter of abandoned vehicles around so I am hoping that you are all safe.
I was certainly not venturing out albeit I have the benefit of sticks - lol. Enough waffling I have made my first tag. I bought the "Tags and Bookplates" alterations die this week so I had to try it out. Ooooo what a great die, this is top for my addiction. Then I just sat and looked at my desk and popped onto the tag that which was sitting about. My desk doesn't look any tidier but I did have fun.

Tag is made from corrugated card cut using
the "Tags and Bookplates" alterations die ,
Other Dies used – Die-namics Decorative Circles Tag STAX.

  2. Hi Flora, I'm staying indoors - with the drifting snow we can't get out anyway! I bet it's chaos out on the roads. I love those little circle tags on your tag. Simple and very effective. Christine x

  5. Flora, Your tag card is brilliant just goes to show what you van do with the bits that are lying around. The snow has just really started here in the last hour an is settling. I can just see those roads around yours. Hope your daughter can get back home ok. We use to live in the very south of Germany and the hill outside of our ski lodge was never blocked with t cars as they knew to put snow chains on before they got to it.

  6. What a great first attempt of a tag, Flora! I haven't made many myself, just a few, find them so hard to do - so little space. But I think yours turned out just fab!

  8. Good Evening Flora,
What a great "tag" I like it, I love those buttons.

The snow really started 8.45, our village has been very quiet all day. Nothing much moves here at this time of year but there has been NOTHING today.

    Keep warm, keep safe

As for your little story - I got to the part of the "abandoned litter of ....... and my mind went into overdrive thinking kittens, puppies... until I saw vehicles! I was sitting here ready to adopt! lol!

Big hugs to you - stay warm!!

    1. Hello Sue, The brown things are flower stamen, I bought them in assorted colours to use in the centre of my flowers, they come with a length of wire/string and a blob at each end. xx Flora
