Poppies and things

Hello my crafty pals. I am struggling a bit at the moment as I am so tired, I shall pop over to your blog Sharon and see your award and sort it out when I get my head around it. I will also hop about and catch up on looking at everyone’s creations. I have had a wee play with the D-Lites dies I bought, they are a bit tricky to use but I expect that was just me really. My allotment has had little use this year, last year we had tons of fruit and this year has been awful, never mind. This card looks a bit like it with overhanging bushes, bulrushes and poppies. I say I should give it up but hubby wants to continue with it, we shall see.
I am taking my oldest daughter to work in the morning as her car has a problem and then I will rest so I thought I would have a play with schedule to see if it works for me, this post could disappear into cyber-space. (hee hee)

Paper and card - card blank is a 19cm square,
and backing is  from stash,
Dies used – Spellbinders D-Lites poppy patch,
Cattails and whimsical tree.

  4. Hi Flora, this card has captured the feeling of autumn, epecially after the summer we seemed to have missed. At this time of year everything is bit tangled and overgrown with a touch of colour ready to die down for winter and this is the feeling I get seeing your card.

  6. Hi Flora,
wonderful card. Love the new dies. Tesco baking parchment works a treat with ticky and fine dies. I have used other ones but none of them work as well as the Tesco one.
I hope you will be feeling better soon. I find plenty of rest helps such a great deal.
    Have a wonderful crafty afternoon.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
