Fun Football!

Yesterday was such a trying day. I had to go to the surgery to give blood samples, no problem with that bit, but after I left home we got such a downpour of rain, it was so bad that my wipers couldn't keep up with it. By the time I got back home I had a headache.  I had to make a wee boy card and thought I would try one of the "sketches" in blogland.  It is harder than I thought. Honest the paper with the small squares is more blue than it shows in this picture. (getting away from purple hee hee). I used ellison thin die cutters which are bright green and managed to lose one of them twice and the other one three times, including putting one back in the box before making the cut, Everything I put down on my desk disappeared into another dimension. The fun part was shrink plastic, even better than embossing. This stamp is so much fun.

Way before the lark this morning

I don't often get a night's sleep and last night I gave up and mooched around but was too tired to craft so watched some crafting on TV instead. That is what I get for being stressy having left this card undone until the last minute yesterday. I used the brand new house die I received in the morning post and whereas I normally like to play first, but no, this was one cut and get on with it.

Important element - nudges from my pals on the Joanna Sheen forum
to get on with this card

My favourite colours card !

I am easily tempted to use lilac and pink on my cards and this one is no exception. I also have a bit of a bad habit of tweaking my cards and adding a little bit extra bling, however this is another card which was just great fun to make. The unusual thing about this card is that I have not used any dies.

Although I have not used my pens very much yet, I am enjoying doing so and have decided to pop this into the challenge.

 A wee pirate card !

This is definitely fun to do. My only problem is that I start looking at blogs and start looking at items used and go to those sites and before I know hours have passed.
My card today is for a wee lad who has a great imagination, so I know he will like it and I thought I would also enter it in a challenge.

Paper - trimmed 6x6 but cannot remember the pack name.
Dies used - sizzix trunk.
I also used a pair of pattern scissors which I really should use more often.

My first blog card!

Hi, Hopefully you will put up with me as I attempt my first blog post. Seems to be a good use of a dull bank holiday Monday.
My card is a winter wishes card to reflect the ever changing weather we are experiencing and you never know when you need a snowy card, added to which she is one of my favourite images.
