Two Turtle Doves (xmas7)

Here we are again my wonderful crafty pals, Thank you all very much for your comments. I struggle with the concept of Less is More so I may start using my Christmas cards to practice this, not there yet of course.
I did do my weightlifting exercises this morning as I lifted the boxes of dies to get to the box of embossing folders. Also had to move 3 boxes of card to find the one I wanted.  I know I'm not the only one, lol.
The embossing folder I used was "Happy and Merry Christmas" by Couture Creations, I used a bit of Core'dinations card, embossed, sanded and highlighted with pencils and Sakura pens. I then added brads, a pin and a bit of ribbon from stash and placed it on a 7x5 white card. Of course I fiddled about with it for ages so it wasn't a quick make.

  6. I always reckoned when I had a horse that it was the mucking out and the looking after it that kept me fit and not the riding. Same with crafting. It's not the time sitting at your desk but the excercise (lots of it) that you get when looking for something you know you have - but where??
I think your card turned out great and I really like the ribbon arrangement.

  7. That's the way to keep those bingo wings at bay Flora! LOL! This is a lovely card and I love the colour you have chosen well worth the weight lifting. The turtle doves are lovely as well! French hens tomorrow???

  8. It's a pain isn't it when you have to "lift and search" for that really important piece of stash, which you just know is lurking about somewhere (but where? - that's the question)!!!
Love this shade of green Flora - beautiful detail and adorable Turtle-Doves. You have reminded me that I really should make a start on my Xmas cards, instead of leaving it 'til 24th December!
Have a lovely week - hugs, Sylvia xx

  10. Getting hoarse with singing all these seasonal songs!! I had to smile at your weightlifting - I do it all the time when what I want is always at the bottom the pile.

Great card. Love that embossing folder looks a fab one to own. Fabulous design as always.
Us crafty individuals must have great upper arm muscles with all this craft lifting. Maybe we could start a new exercise regime, or craft exercise DVD. lol.
    Have a wonderful Sunday evening.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
