Ooops it is so long since I blogged or commented on your wonderful creations, I almost forgot my password. I have missed being with you all. I lent my camera and had to use my old one today so the photo isn't great as it appears to have developed a fault, also I couldn't remember what I did with my tripod and my old camera is quite heavy (probably isn't really but my hands and arms are totally rubbish and I ache in bits I didn't know I had, lol). I would have had another go but of course the battery was running low and as I had to search for the camera this post has taken some energy to construct. The actual card is a little more rusty colour than my photo shows so please use a little imagination.
I don't know where the days are going and have been feeling a bit sluggish of late so I really need to get myself going so I wonder whatever happened to "fergusade" and "cremola foam" !!!! I am sure they would help.
Anyway I will be away now and hope you are all well and hugs to all who need some. Thank you all for taking the time to comment, love hearing from you.

Great card Flora. I had forgotten all about cremola foam. So many things just disappeared.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely Christmas card, Flora! That was my favourite carol singing song many moons ago. Those were the days when we used to sing at least three carols all the way through before daring to knock on the door!
ReplyDeletePleased to see you back in Blogland. I had to google creamola foam as I had never heard of it. Apparently it's back on the shelves in Scotland!! xx
I vaguely remember Creamola foam but not ferguzade. Sounds like it's a version of lucozade. Well you might have had a struggle to photograph your card but I'm glad you persevered because it's great. love from Christine xx
ReplyDeleteLovely card Flora, I haven't heard of any of these so I will have to google them both! Take care.

Hi Flora,
ReplyDeletefab card. Love those bells and the embossing. Never heard of the Creamola Foam or the Ferguzade.
It's funny when you stop blogging for a while how quick the time seems to go, and before you know it a week or two has gone by in a flash. I noticed that when I had rest from it because of my Dad. Then I had lots of trouble getting my mojo back , but you seem to be having no problems.
Mind you you have got a lot of work going on at your home, and it's no wonder you are feeling the aches and pains.
Sending the biggest hugs to help.
Have a wonderful crafty evening.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
ReplyDeleteFlora glad to see you back, oh I haven't heard Creamola foam for years, that was a treat when we were little (many moons ago) haven't heard of the Fergusade. Marie-Louise
As saying that it's back in Scotland but I haven't seen it.

ReplyDeleteNow, I was somehere quite recently, can't remember where or when, but I do remember seeing cans of cremaola foam and they ber almost a fiver, well I suppose that's inflation for you. I used to have this drink as a teen, and when it was used up, I would make a fizzy drink with Andrews Liver salts and a wee bit of diluting orange juice, well I needn't tell you any more!!, Hugs Kate x
Hi Flora
ReplyDeleteNice to have you back again.
Never heard of Fergusade or Cremola Foam. . . . .they sound like something you might have picked up at Glastonbury and what you would put on it hahaha!
Love the background on your card and great colour. x

ReplyDeleteWonderful card Flora - and the sentiment is perfect with those lovely bells!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back - I wonder if Creamola Foam was similar to cream soda? I remember that as a kid - a glass with a scoop of ice cream in and
bingo, ice cream soda :)
Hugs, Di xx

I too remember the word Creamola but can't remember what it was! I do know it was when iwas very little though.

Good to see you back with another lovely Christmas card. I remember Creamola as a sort of milk pudding - rather like a cross between ground rice and custard.
ReplyDeleteHI Flora! Have never heard of cremola foam but am guessing it's a cream in foam form? Also not heard of fregusaid..am intrigued! Anyway, your card is gorgeous..well worth all the effort to get it online..I haven't heard this carol in ages, but used to love singing it, hugs Carole Z X

ReplyDeleteGood evening Flora, great to see you back in Bogland showing another fantastic card, I really like this one.
ReplyDeleteOh! Creamola Foam I remember it well, I liked the orange flavour best. We can get it up here in our neck of the woods BUT it is nothing like the original (in my opinion). Maybe seems different now I am older. I remember Fergusade, have not seen that though.
Have a Great Weekend
