My crafty pals are the best, always encouraging and sending kindly thoughts, and chatting
by email I was just mentioning my determined effort to reduce my sugar intake
and how I had not touched any sweets/chocolate for over a fortnight – and the lightbulb
lit brightly – this ties in with my rumbling FM headache which painkillers
refused to move. So armed with the strongest dark chocolate from Lidl, instead of painkillers I have
successfully chased my headache away, yippee.
My card today is simply a bit of play. I have
old stash and sometimes I wonder if I should be using it or not but I find it
difficult to get rid of anything so instead I just play. Will I ever learn to
do CAS, probably not! - maybe the next card, lol.
This is the most fun die cutter and I
think it was meant for play.

ReplyDeletePleased you've found a remedy for your headaches, awful things. Sugar causes quite a number of maladies, having diabetes and struggling with my carb intake for years has informed me just how bad it is for anyone really. I eat when I feel the urge 7o% and upwards dark choc.

Great to see you are using up some stash - I think most of us hoard things. I know I just can't bear to throw anything away, even the tiniest scraps of card and paper. Good to know that the chocolate worked - has to be better than too many painkillers!

ReplyDeleteIt's good to use up your stash hun - I'm still not purchasing any papers or ribbons because I still have so much to use! Gorgeous card, love angel hair stuff, wish it was easier to find! Don't know if you are aware Flora, and I will try to find the article, some research into FM and chronic fatigue showed that eating higher content chocolate helped FM sufferers - I prefer it these days too - and the Aldi one is good as well! hugs Karen x
