More Bodies

Thank you to all my crafty pals for your lovely comments. I did enjoy reading them very much and I was so pleased my Torso gave you a chuckle.  I do enjoy things haberdashery and even own a vintage Chil Daw canvas mannequin. It is adjusted using cogs and was designed for a time when lassies had waists. It will take pride of place when I have a proper craft room.
I really must get back to using some of my stamps before my inks dry out but this die cutting is a bit of an addiction. Before I do so I will make this quick haberdashery card. I am using some very old threaded stash here and a little inked sentiment from House Mouse.
Paper and card - card blank is a 6 inch square
my backing paper from Prima Nature Garden collection,
Dies used :- SCACD Ribbons and Bows Dressform & Torso Charm,
Marianne Vintage Scissors  and
Go Kreate Ornament Frilly #2.

No snow here as we live by the sea, but oh! so cold. Last year we were eating Ice-cream on the sea front according to hubby's diary.

  2. Clever design - just love how you've used differente papers for this card! I like the detail of the scissors too. I agree with you - die cutting can be an addiction - there are so many great dies out there to chose from, and I just want them all!

  3. What a fabulous design Flora - love the sewing theme and the beautiful colours. (Are those scissors really a die-cut - they look totally like the real thing)?

Hope you are managing to keep warm in this awful "Spring" weather.

  20. Good Sunny!!! Morning Flora,
Love, Love, Love it all. Fantastic sewing themed creation.
Nice bright colours and great layout.
I used to make all my own clothes, have boxes of old paper patterns and material. Must have a rummage through those and see what I can come up with. I got a great set of Haberdashery Dies at Harrogate never out of the packet yet.
    Have a Wonderful Easter
