New Season

Hello to my wonderful crafty pals, Thank You all for your lovely comments and I hope you are all well. I have no idea which season of the year it is, I am totally confused so I think my card shows it, lol. When I saw this bridge die it was one of those must have, living so close to the city which admires Brunel so much. So I had a wee play with colours and bits of scraps and had great fun. I was also very naughty and added  Grand Decorative Ovals 1 and the Grand Decorative labels 1 to my die collection, well a lass shouldn't get left behind should she, I must say I am impressed with them. The weather has slowed our building work down but come rain or shine we must get on with it.

My namesake

Hello my crafty pals and I am pleased I managed to get a bit of wandering around blogland , so many beautiful creations, I do wish I had time to comment on all but rest assured I am very pleased that you all show them . Hope you are all well. I couldn't ignore the arrival of my namesake - lol so here she is and I did have a lot of fun making this card. I had bought the Spellbinder's Diamond Strips and Accents as I thought it would be useful for my art deco cards, mislaid the pack so as I was very pleased to have found it I did have a play. Yes you may wonder how I can mislay a whole pack of dies. As always it makes me very happy when I have comments to read. Just realised I haven't put the sentiment on.

First Washi Play

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my little ski boy. I am pleased to be playing again so I got out my new goodies and did just that. I was going to put a topper on this card but I might leave it. So without further ado here is my play.
Paper and card - card blank is a 6x6 from Joanna Sheen ,
the papers are from annamariedesigns bought at Westpoint.
Dies used - Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One (smallest die) for the background,
also used Die-namics Bookmark, layered rose and Retro Squares
and topped it off with 2 black roses and 3 white from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I put the washi tape onto 160gsm Text and Graphics then cut it with the retro squares die, I separated the end piece which had a small piece of washi tape to use in the top right corner.
