No parasol

Hello to all my crafty pals and collectors of all things craft related. I enjoyed reading all your comments on my last post.  I was looking for a parasol die, both a vintage one which was closed and a pretty open one. I didn't find one I liked so I took bits of memory box dies and created one. To  be honest I would play all day with dies. Please believe how much pleasure I get wandering around your blogs and sorry my commenting is so erratic.  It never ceases to amaze me what fantastic projects you are all creating and enjoying.
I haven't coloured any images for ages so I should have picked an easier one. Anyway I made it up into a simple card with my made up parasol. Hopefully it will bring the sunshine back.
Image - Juliet in the field of Nasturtiums,
Paper  and card - card blank is a 7x5 card
 backing paper was a freebie,
buttons and bling from stash.

PS: Bits of dies used were from Memory Box Graceful Silhouette cut it twice in pink dotty paper ,  chopped the stems off, laid one over the other but offset onto some white card and then cut the white card around the shape, touching the edges up in pink ink. The handle is part of Memory Box Whimsical flourish. I have had a look at the Marianne parasol die  Mrs Duck but not quite what I am after but Thank You.

  1. That is a clever way of making a parasol. I thought I'd spotted a parasol die the other die but afraid I can't remember where but if I come across it again I'll let you know. Amazing just how much fun can be had with dies and embossing folders!!
