My brother-in-law was so chuffed with his card, declaring he had received a card you wouldn't find in the shops that I think his wife will expect something special next week, so hopefully this card will be good enough. I made up some of the flowers but cannot remember where I bought the Gypsophila ones.
A different set of ingredients today :-
Paper and card - card blank is an A5 made from Centura Pearl,
the backing papers are from my special card/paper box.
Dies used - Marianne anja frames and leaves, Crealies 11 and
Die-namics Fishtail flag stax and Layered Rose,
and ribbon and bling was from stash.
Hello Flora. How beautiful. Great design and I just love the colours.
ReplyDeleteHope that you are keeping well. Take care.
Love Sandra xxx

Hello Anne, Which day are you going to Exeter, a friend is driving me from Taunton down there on Saturday as it is too far for me to drive and shop. If you are there on the Saturday and see me looking for bargains and getting in peoples way on crutches please say Hello. xx Flora
DeleteHello Flora,
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a kind comment - and also becoming a follower. I have returned the favour. Purple id my favourite colour so this card is definitely a "me" card. I love the Anja dies, but there are so many I would love to own!!! You have really made me think about using up the stuff that I have bought - "for something special". YOu are so right, it should be on a card not stuck in a box for nobody to see but me!
Christine.
Hello Flora, Your card is beautiful,I love the die cuts.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people are not happy about getting the card/paper out of their Marianne dies. Hope yours gets better.
Sue :)
Good evening Flora,
ReplyDeleteYour card is great, love the colours and what you have done with the ribbon.
I have these dies and Boy! yes!! are they a pain to cut.
I use waxed paper, dust the die with talk on rub with a Tumble Drier Sheet but is still a pain. I have a few others of this make of Die, I have decided not to buy any more of them.
Happy Crafting
Patricia
That should be Talc and not talk.............!!!
ReplyDeleteSue/Patricia, It wasn't that the paper got stuck in the die, it didn't want to cut it, it just stretched the paper. I suspect with these intricate dies some hard card is best. The rest of that set is really great. xx Flora
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love this paper and you have such a great way with your bows - love the braid in the top of this one. Beauutiful as always Flora!!
ReplyDeletethis is gorgeous Flora. I love the colours and such a fabulous design
