My namesake

Hello my crafty pals and I am pleased I managed to get a bit of wandering around blogland , so many beautiful creations, I do wish I had time to comment on all but rest assured I am very pleased that you all show them . Hope you are all well. I couldn't ignore the arrival of my namesake - lol so here she is and I did have a lot of fun making this card. I had bought the Spellbinder's Diamond Strips and Accents as I thought it would be useful for my art deco cards, mislaid the pack so as I was very pleased to have found it I did have a play. Yes you may wonder how I can mislay a whole pack of dies. As always it makes me very happy when I have comments to read. Just realised I haven't put the sentiment on.

Paper and card - card blank is a 19 cm square,
and backing is  from my stash box,
Dies used – Spellbinders labels 13 & Diamond Strips and Accents and
Memory Box Tessatina Border.

  1. I know exactly how easy it is to mislay a pack of dies!!!!! I thought I had last my gorgeous Marianne die that I bought at the NEC, but thankfully I found it and used it the other day. I love this die you have used! And that peculiar-looking elf/fairy/pixie, is really quite sweet. Have a good day Flora. Christine x

  2. Flora I mislay things all the time, I find them in stupid places like the fridge or once I put the glue in the bathroom cabinet oops could have been nasty. Anyway your card is gorgeous the image is adorable and I love the dies. Have a great day. Caroline xxx

  7. Hi Flora,
your card is really lovely. I can see why you had to have her isn't she just fab. Those dies are fantastic too. Not seen those before.
You do have the knack of finding unusual dies.
Isn't it just sooooooo frustrating looking for something you have misplaced. Not got quite as bad as Caroline but could come close though. I buy craft items put them away and can't remember where I put them. So when I want to use them on a project I send precious time searching all my drawers and cupboards in my craft room.
Sorry I have waffled on a bit.
    Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  9. This little fairy is a true sweetie! I think you designed such a great background for her. Glad you found your dies - I mislay things all the time, but things usually have a way of finding me after a while:)

  10. What a really pretty creation Flora.

Thank you so much for visiting me and your kind comments, I totally understand how hard it is getting round and I've been a very poor blogger this last week with flu and consequential fluctuating sugar levels.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

  14. Hi Flora, how nice to have a namesake and you've made a lovely card with her.

It never ceases to amaze me how easy it is to lose things here. Well maybe it is easy when you see how little space I end up crafting in!

I know what you mean about blogging and commenting. I sometimes think I spend more time doing that than crafting. Not easy to keep up with your favourite blogs but it is nice to be able to visit and comment when you can.
