Baby Card

Sat here listening to "Queen" which didn't lend itself to making a peaceful baby card. Anyway my pals on the JS forum say it looks fine as I was about to start fiddling with it. I am prone to doing a bit too much fiddling about. I have had one of those annoying days having had the hospital phone me to arrange for my knee replacement on the 22nd August only to say 20 seconds later that they couldn't arrange a date as I had to see the consultant. Anyway "Queen" should blow away the annoyance. Enough waffling from me and here is my baby card.

Looking Serious

Another jump in time, I did no crafting last week at all and was amazed yesterday to find I still had 10 alcohol pens on my desk from my last card, am I am so untidy, or else something has been playing in my absence. I did do some shopping however and into my basket dropped this stamp which has been on my wish list for some time. It is every bit as good as I expected and gradually clear stamps are growing on me. I was originally very squeamish to touch them and it was not helped by one tearing in half. So here it is and it took some time to put the card together as I had a break half way through so hopefully it works.

Tea Fairy

I cannot believe it is Friday already, where did the week go to. I pottered about yesterday with a bad FM day so didn't get anything done except help a little with dinner. Wednesday was one of these days when I got things wrong like doing my die cut before stamping the image, putting the clear sentiment stamp on the block writing side down and inking it, couldn't get the embossing powder to do what I wanted so decided it probably wasn't a day for a heat gun. I had a great day on Tuesday and managed a 3 hour round trip to help a forum friend. It was a lovely day and also great to have a look round another crafter's den.
So here we are on Friday and I've had fun with this little fairy. Fairies are definitely among my favourite things.

Summer Pink

After encouraging the sunshine to appear yesterday with my "hot" card I thought I would continue the theme today, you never know (doesn't look promising at the moment). This is the last of my 3 new girl stamps and I have gone a bit mad with pink.We really must get some summer encouraged.

So Hot

Had to use a bit of imagination for this card, mixed with a lot of wishful thinking. The stamp is another of my group of 3 girls I got lately so I might use the last one tomorrow. This card was all about having fun and I used 3 colours of embossing powder to do the sand. Still finding glittery embossing powder where it shouldn't have gone but that is me and glitter.

Bling it up!

I cannot believe it is 4 weeks since I made one of my favourite types of card. Life does have a bit of a habit of getting in the way. I also had left my finishing bits of other cards undone so had 40 inserts , bagging etc to sort out. Also had to do exciting things like tidy up enough space to work in. Anyway all that is out of the way so I can relax and enjoy myself. This is a new stamp for me and I really enjoyed using it to make a fun card.
